This morning i spent some time online getting updated, yet not up to date with the news :) I read the article “Put Africa In The Linux Timeline” which i enjoyed and completely agree with. Somewhere out there, there is skills, people with the skills. A lot of things (projects) get done. Perhaps not known widely enough, for the rest of the world to take notice.

I got one of those Typhoon Optical mouses resently. After two weeks working with it, I still don’t feel quite comfortabale with it. Either it is too big , or my fingers are too short or quite it be that i am just trying to use it in the wrong way ? say 3 fingers on top and the thumb and lil’ finger on the sides ?
Still not comfy.
i get got spammed quite heavily over the weekend. With 256 comments. i definitely need to disble the sendmail feature, takes too long deleting all the mail.
i just back from a relaxing weekend. i suppose other ppl didn’t have such a relaxing w/e as i did. Pleople stress to much, who invented that darn word anyway ?
Just got the link, Life Expectancy Calculator, don’t go there if you don’t want to get shocked. my life expectancy is around 51 yrs. which means i got around 26 yrs left to do my $#i!
Got a memo just now, to update all Office 2003 to Service Pack 2 and the path for Office Service Pack 3. There must be a way to get the machine to load the update when logging on.
The w/e was fun, got plenty of rest but now it is GONE…
Getting to the was the usual fun of some #$%$ double parking and office in a mess.
So today i got SARG running on the server, makes good reading for data actually does pass the gateway. As per usual the squid was mucking me around while testing sarg. The dir isn’t accessable and so forth. I will have to get a way to work on the server without squid and browser cache’s. Perhaps then it will be faster to get things up and runnning.
Now all that is left is some fine tuning, display, color etc, of SARG.
I haven’t decided yet. I have read several articles regarding this in the past. But was never able to make my mind… but i am now leaning more to BAD!!!
