Well thanks to Rob over at iScatterlings whom in return thanks some other folks. I have decided to run with this. I don’t usually blog/post that much or often.
Thus I think I should really re-take that quiz. 71% is pretty steep, but I think I made it up with reading blogs, now that I can do. Man I should get paid to surf the net.

This is not the first time that I haven’t been able to find what I was looking for.For some reason the searching of archives via the admin interface of WP is not working so well. When I do the search via google, for a specific word/phrase, I do get a hit on my blog. I should just hit the forums, see what it yields.

Anyone else perhaps notice this?

Rob has mentioned that the blogosphere is very quite. Well it sure is… I for one have been very quiet, not that I have been very talkative anyway. My usual blogroll have also been much quieter than usual.

I have just been keeping myself busy away from the blikbrein for a while…need some space. Don’t have much to say, but I am sure you could gather that much from the previous post. either that or I’m really disturbed

But I have been in my garage again. Luckily no heavy duty machinery there Tinkering with the heap(mess) of wires, that is suppose to make up my cortina’s wiring. Yes I believe it is a 1983 MK5 Ford Cortina, well the shell at least. If you lift the bonnet(hood) you’ll just find an ordinary 2.0L diesel, turbo charged I might add, Toyota engine inside.
To make a long story short, impost engine, very old bakkie and way too many people have worked on it. Now I did not start the work, I got it from my father. And for the past year I have yet to figure out the wiring. Reason: I’m too cheap/stubborn to get a real professional to do the job. That’s just me.

I have finally managed to sit down and go through my list of drafts and decide what to finish and at last post.
Yeah I know I’ve neglected the blog. I’ve been busy with the usual you know, work, play, Wimbledon (hell yeah) and off course reading.

Note: not quite so easy to type when your cat wants to roll up between your arms on the desk….its chilly upstairs.

Just a quick question, how long on average does it take to write a post ?
I mean some people must be spending like what seems to be hours to draft a post. How long does it take. How many time do you save and edit, before the final post ?
Personally no more than 5-10 min for me, I don’t spend much time on grammar and style of writing. I just like to make sure at least the spelling is correct I guess this last piece should have been a separate post

I guess this is not the time to look at how to implement the API into my blog. Certainly not after looking at the page and not having a damn clue what they’re on about, nor when your eye lids are picking up weight.

Well in this case anyway, till I can manage to figure out why the page layout is disturebed as soon as I import the database. On a newly installed system with a few posts it seems to be working fine. So it seems the upgrade broke something No it was actualy just a posting that caused it.

In the meantime I’ll just use this old dull wp 1.2 theme Not anymore hehe.

Yeah I know, it looks crap at the moment. I am currently working on customizing a new theme

Wonder if there will ever be a day that I make my won theme. So just check back later.

Did you see my akismet widget. I decided to upgrade akismet to the latest version. ONe reason being I could load thtat widget on the frontpage. Only to find out later when looking at ‘edit plugins’, I could have done it long ago with the previous version.

First off, I didn’t want to get out of bed. But i finally do and and make it to work. Later putting on my glasses, aftersitting too long, way too many articles.

That is when it gets bad. Get the spectacles to see better and miss the cup of coffee on the desk, which lands in my lap. Hot coffee. Not funny.

To make matters worse I get one of those clients you just can’t accommodate. You turn left, right, flip upside down. Nothing seems to work. That ends the “working day on a HIGH note”.

Get home switch on the PC. Directly at the wall socket since I switched it off there, due to the lovely weather we’re having. As I turn around the LAMP server’s PSu decides to blow smoke. Looking like a peace pipe.

And then to top it all, I get home and type the longest post I have ever typed.

What a day. Luckily the weekend is in sight. Oh goody!!

Somewhere along the line I stuffed up. I have managed to delete/lose a file. The one for posting pictures directly from my K750i.

I’ll have to find the downloaded file (probably impossible) or just find the site I downloaded it from in the first place
