before work this morning i was watching SuperSport… they had this 100 mile run on… where people were running between 8 and 28 hours to finish the race.
i will be dead after 4 hours, i am sure.
Give me 21km or so, and i will still run it. Not now though, i’m way too unfit now, i will mostlikely collapse after the first 4km’s ![]()
But with some practise i will take on 21 km or so, but definitely not 100 miles, that is bloody crazy…
besides i’ll miss my sleep too much ![]()
being the person that i am , trying to seem busy most of the time. i haven’t quite gotten to read much news lately
but i did find an article on Tectonic that was published awhile ago (July 8th) but is still good news. since i do use ubuntu since the first release at home and at the office
here is the link for the article…
last night i went out to get buy some bread. after going to the shop, i thought i’d go for a drive around town. whilst driving around, i met up with an old friend we chatted adn decided to go get something wet.
so we end up at a local pub after driving past 4 or 5 pubs, checking out which wasn’t too busy… so we spent a couple of hours talking. when we finally decided to leave, i looked for my car keys. they were not in me pocket, which is usally where i leave them
we searched around the desk a might, went back to the fireplace where we later moved to. and nothing.
At the managers desk no lost keys were given in. so we decided to drive to my place , fecth my spare keys and them come back and get my car.
when i got to my car, offcourse i must mention that my driver side window is non-existent :), i found my keys still in the ignition.
i guess my car is just too damn UGLY to steal. i mean no window, with the keys still in the ignition, or perhaps just nobody walked past my car ![]()
ICANN Blog this must be the best page i’ve read in a long time, and there are a number of them.
yep it is almost over, i swear i live for fridays !!!
not that i am looking foward to this w/e ![]()
yip that’s it. o officially dislike inventory… i just spent my whole morning walking from one office to the next, collecting S/N for printers.
Luckily i have gotten hold of a nice utility Belarc, which makes a print out of all the specs of a machine, so that saves me some time and headaches.
luckilyu this only needs to be done once, and IF i keep the document up to date as i make changes, it wouldn’t need to be done again to such an extent.
i just found this link Linux Distribution Chooseron a mailing list, and thought why not check it out.
well i went through all the questions and at the end ?
” Sorry, we were not able to find any matches. Please come back later.” i guess there ain’t no distribution for me yet
so i’ll just continue using fedora core 2, ubuntu warty and suse 9.3
i am so cold this morning, my brain doesn’t even want to think.
And my fingers doesn’t want to type!!
like everyone else, there are certain sites i read daily.
one of them is The Register and the main reason i got to to this site was because of BOFH Articles, if that is what i can call them.
sure is a good read…everytime
